As part of Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2018, eating disorder groups across Canada are coming together to launch a new campaign to reinforce the message that when it comes to eating disorders, ONE SIZE DOESN’T FIT ALL. - We want you to know that no matter what you look like. Another inspiring journey brought to us by our client Dhar! - #REPOST: @br3akingth3chains - May of 2017 I started a weight loss journey in which I had set a goal to loose weight and become healthy. I have not fully reached my goal yet but wanted to provide an update to how far I have come this second picture was taken Dec 2017 in which I have LOST 80 lbs. -�There were days when I thought this is an impossible task and felt like giving up but I didn't because I had my beautiful wife @triishc who was always there to motivate me and push me to keep going and supporting me through the rough days love you and I would also like to thank @aaguzzi for all of his help as I would have not gotten this far without his help with preparing my meal plan and workout plan. Also keeping me accountable with the check ins I did. I'm not going to lie I was shit scared every time I went to do a weigh in lol but thank you so much. And finally I would like to thank @teamg_fit family because that's what it is - a family in which no one will get left behind. Everytime I went to gym I knew I was a part of this team which made me want to work hard and give it my all so I do not let anyone down so once again thank you so much. �With all that being said I'm still not done my journey yet long way to go still but I know that I will be able to get there soon and I have set a new goal for myself which I am working hard to achieve now and I know with the help of my coach and support from my wife and friends and family I will be able to achieve it. - Thank you for sharing your story Dhar! It's Friday!!!!! 🎉🙌🏼 You've worked hard all week and now the weekend is finally here!! It is also the time when most people struggle with sticking to their diet. - Monday rolls around and it feels like it's back to square one again. Well not this time!!! 😤 Here are some tips to conquering the weekend 👑: -�Step 1: Be prepared.�If you know you are going to have busy days running around or away from home, have your meals packed and loaded! Most convenient stores have microwaves so all it takes is a quick stop to zap your food and you're good to go! -�Step 2: If you are going out to eat, your best options are choosing items like steak, chicken, fresh fish or other vegan protein options (size of palm of your hand), with a large side of greens (2 fists) and a portion of rice or potato (1 cupped handful). Most restaurants are accommodating to special requests as well to keep the calorie count down (I.e. No butter on steak, etc.). -�Step 3: Make a healthier version of your cheat meal!�The picture shown above 👆🏼 is an example of a cheat meal Coach @HeatherSoron has made in the past, loaded nachos! 🧀🍅For this entire plate (sour cream and cheese included) Calories: 350, Protein: 30g, Carbs: 15g, Fat: 12g. And if you want to add volume you could add some ice berg lettuce to the mix!! Loaded nachos for supper... 👌🏼�.�Okay so now you're set for success!! As your triceps become stronger with these exercises, the strength and stability of your shoulders and elbows increase.
