Weeklong artist Maya Rosenberg invites everyone to join her & paint according to the music! AND an employee from the Yukon Literacy Coalition will be there with the Community Book Bike to provide free books & read a story to the kids.
Baroque String Collective is a group of 12 musicians that play baroque and other classical music in different instrumental combinations. Today at the park, the project features 4 violins, viola, cello and bass. Acrylic painter Maya Rosenberg is at the park all week during the noon hour performances and invites audience members to paint according to the music!
Brigitte & Ryan are playing their old time & country blues today! Maya Rosenberg will paint acrylic landscapes with elements based on the music! Hope to see you there! 12-1.

Get a sneak peak of the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass festival with the Bombadils! They will be at the park from 12-1 today accompanied by cellist Eric Wright of the Juno-award winning act, The Fretless. Nova Scotian Luke Fraser and Albertan Sarah Frank create beautiful harmonies and enchanting melodies by reconfiguring old folk songs, poetry, and original music into a new folk framework. Their recent album, New Shoes, won a Folk Music Ontario award and was nominated for two Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Girls Rock Camp Yukon founder Drea Naysayer has toured all around Canada, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands. She is at the park from 12-1 today! During the performance, Arts in the Park weeklong visual artist Emma Barr is working on oil paintings.
