The landfill is open; however due to the weather, travel on the landfill road is not recommended without a 4x4 vehicle. Crews are working to improve road conditions. Thank you for your understanding.

The Easter holiday is fast approaching. Curbside Recycling pick up will continue per its normal schedule on Good Friday. The following facilities will be closed on Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17: - Town Administration Office, - Forest Interpretive Centre, - Whitecourt Transfer Station, - Whitecourt Landfill, - Whitecourt Public Library, - Whitecourt Transit service will not be available. The Allan & Jean Millar Centre will be closed on Good Friday (April 14) and Easter Sunday (April 16). The facility will be open on Monday, April 17 from 5:30am to 10:00 pm.
