Well, well; no doggin it - the Man In the Hat is back! And today I discovered that these amazing sky structures are indeed Sun Halos ...not Sun Dogs. Sun Halos may have dogs on either side - who knew? :). So. We all need a halo from time to time and given this afternoon's winds... this man may have earned his halo! Did you know about dogs and halos???

Summertime...and the living is easy. Or is it? When one of Summer's storms blasts down the valley near Talbot Lake or comes storming down from a mountain peak... does this not put you more in awe of the amazing power of nature. Aren't we lucky to have survived, as mere wee humans, for this long?

Come along with me for a few of my late afternoon views as I decided to meander my way home along a few of the rural backroads, avoiding "rush hour" traffic on the main highways. Note: According to Environment Canada, at the time of my drive wind speed was WSW at 40km gusting to 52km. Temperature was 1℃.
