We are the annual convention of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies in Toronto
The Wellesley Fall Fair is busy planning our educational entertainment for Wednesday afternoon at the fair. The past two years we have had the "Hands on Exotic" from Toronto and we were wondering if there is interest in bringing them back for a third year. The first year we had them booked for 4 hours with a cost of over $1100 to the fair and last year we booked them for 8 hours with a cost of over $2000. Are there other types of educational entertainment that you would like to suggest. We are a volunteer group that must raise all the funds to operate the fair by very kind donations from local businesses, gate receipts and grants from the Township of Wellesley and OMARFA.

2016 is the 'International Year of Pulses" which is beans, chickpeas, lentil and peas. Great news! Pulses are grown in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. I have attached the website for Pulse Canada. We are looking for ideas to promote pulses. Do you have a recipe you would like to share or maybe an idea that we can have at the fair (Sept 13- 14 2016) http://www.pulsecanada.com/
