Call me a nerd, but I am super stoked to be finally going to dine at the Moosewood restaurant in Ithaca, NY tomorrow!! Have always been a huge fan of the Moosewood cookbooks (this is one of my favourites) and wanted to eat there. It is finally happening this week! Photos to follow in the next few days....

Tomorrow is the last night of my cooking class series "Transitioning to a Plant based diet". We are doing a couple of breakfast dishes, a soup, rice bowl, faux tuna salad, and two yummy desserts (chocolate pie and lemon cheesecakes). If you have the night free and want to learn about how to plan out your food prep to ensure success, and make and sample all that delicious food, message me. I have a few spots available.

Come on out next Tuesday night for a great evening of information to help you maintain health and well being in a holistic manner. I will be speaking about plant based eating and our local naturopath will share his wisdom, as well as the fabulous Pat Kennedy, who spearheads all these great events to keep us informed and empowered in our wellness journey. Doors open at 6:30 (time is wrong on the poster) and the talk starts at 7.

What a busy few days I have had! 366 meals made and served in 3 days for college students who came to the Hanover area to visit local organic farms. Great group, an amazing challenge for me, and with the help of my hard working hubby and several fabulous friends, we pulled it off. The college staff thanked us when they left today and asked "same time next year?" Going to bed early tonight, exhausted and satisfied. Thank you Philip Holmes , Naila Suida, Marilyn Ross, Marilyn Hopkins and Jaclyn Klein for all your help. You guys are the best!!
