Day 18: I got to do something that I haven't done in 3 1/2 years... I ate lunch BY MYSELF 😱 If you've never been to Gopher Creek Cafe in Virden I highly recommend it! I had an amazing salad with a homemade dressing that was so tasty! Eating clean doesn't have to be boring, you may even discover some new places and new foods you love!

Day 16! Today was a great day and it made me realize that my energy is now higher than it was when I started. I was up early, got a workout in, had a full day and usually by 9 I would be ready to crash but tonight I was able to put the kids to bed and then go ride my horses! Awesome feeling to still have the energy to go out and enjoy that! I had a chocolate almond butter shake for breakfast and this tasty salad for lunch. I made a roast chicken for supper which was extremely easy, so tasty and now I have good leftovers to top it off! Tomorrow I'll announce the start date for our next 28 day group! (And give you some details on how awesome this group is doing!😀)

Update from the weekend: I stayed on track pretty good except one slip up! We were on the road for a rodeo for the weekend. I made sure to pack healthy snacks, shake mix and lots of water for the road! My one slip up was after the rodeo, we were cold, wet and tired and I caved and had a sub at subway 🙈. I didn't let that throw my day off though, had a clean supper and today I chopped up and washed this big bowl of lettuce to make salad assembly easy! We are half way through and meal decisions are getting easier every day 😊

Day 12: I was really wanting some bread today! So instead I just added some rice (that I have precooked on hand) to my salad at lunch! It helped fill me up and got me through that little craving 😉 The other picture is the kale chips I made at supper... my family devours these things! They are so easy to make and a really tasty side dish or snack! We are on the road this weekend so I will post what I do to prepare for hours and hours in the truck 🙃

Well day 10 did not go as planned.... I ate clean until supper time and then we had a birthday party, I had made plans to pick up a salad before hand and plans didn't work out! So I had hotdogs with no buns and skipped the cake and marshmallows! I say this because I'm human and it happens and I'm not going to beat myself up over it! I do my best to stay on track and consistency is what counts! Im back on track today, had an awesome wrap for lunch and for supper... I have an awesome friend who brought a detox friendly salad and a detox friendly dessert!! I was feeling spoiled 😊 I wish that's what I toook the picture of!

Day 9: Picture is lunch! So good! It's been nice to start a week off not feeling crappy about bad food choices from the weekend, I didn't feel like it was a Monday where I had to "get back on track" Healthy food can taste good and doesn't have to take a lot of time to prepare!

Ah I'm a day behind! So here's Sunday and Monday 😊 End of a week and start of week 2! Today I did not have the afternoon lull, I felt like after lunch I wanted to get something done, not sit down. I had a salad at BP's last night without the cheese to keep it meal plan friendly, today was more kale chips and chicken at lunch and a make your own salad from co op to eat on the road! Here is a comment from a member of our group this month in our daily group chat:

Day 6 and the weekend! The weekends are always tougher as the days aren't so routine. My day went completely opposite as planned and ended up doing a very last minute trip to Brandon to a barrel race. So this meant I had nothing prepared or packed! I took a protein bar, I got the chicken apple pecan salad from Wendy's (which was delicious!) and picked up a pack of trail mix at Walmart for a snack on the way home. There doesn't need to be any excuses! I felt great not eating junk food or canteen food! I had whipped up this little detox friendly treat the other day for when that sweet tooth really screams at me! Me version of chocolate walnut bark 😊 Just about one week in and I feel like this gets easier each time around.

Day 5: and what a beauty of a day it was!! I was thankful for these easy to grab and go protein bars for those times when you just want convenience! And my lunch was delicious... brown rice pasta, BBQ chicken and kale chips! I am feeling good, drinking lots of water and my energy is getting better each day now
