This is the Facebook page for 1st Downsview MedVents. The page is youth run. For inquiries, feel free to post on our wall or send us a private message! MedVents is a Scouts Canada vocational Venturer Company and Rover Crew. The group consists of male and female youth, ages 14 to 25.
1st Downsview has a partnership between Toronto EMS and Scouts Canada. Toronto Paramedic Services training staff provide the youth with EMS certified first aid training as well as orientation in EMS procedures. The trained youth are then available to volunteer and provide first aid support at venues around Toronto and with Scouts Canada.

This is open to Cub packs in the GTC and abroad! This is a great opportunity for your youth! UPDATE: Due to the possibility of City of Toronto workers going on strike, we may or may not need to change the location or date last minute, because the Toronto Paramedic Services' Headquarters is a City building.
