As part of the organizing committee we are very pleased with the results of the 2016 Junior Men Canadian Championship! What an outstanding Gold medal game! The lead was back and forth with Quebec winning in the bottom of the 7th inning! This week was a lot of hard work from some great people. Over 180 volunteers contributed time this week. By any measure you want to use this was a very successful Canada Championship tournament. Tavistock defined small town hospitably this past week. Canada came to Tavistock and discovered the Fast-pitch Capitol of Canada!! To everyone in Tavistock, thank you!!

New Hamburg and Newfoundland will meet at 10:30 Sunday morning. The winner will play Oshawa at 12:30. The winner of that game will face the Quebec team for Gold at 3PM. It's going to be a an exciting Sunday for sure!!!

New Hamburg will be playing tomorrow morning at 10:30, there opponent will be decided in the 6:30pm game tonight. Be sure to come to Tavistock and watch some of the best fast-pitch in the country!!!

Round Robin Awards Ceremony will take place just prior to the Winner Bracket Final game at 8:30 tonight.

We've got a full slate of games today at the tournament. Games get underway at 10:00 am with Tavistock Athletics taking on their rivals the New Hamburg Mustangs. Winner moves onto 4:00 to play Alberta High Noon showdown for Newfoundland and Nova Scotia winner moves onto play Saskatoon at 6:30 who will be fired up after a tough loss last night 2:00pm has the Consolation Championship Game between New Brunswick and The 2015 Champions Stratford Cubs We wrap things up with the Winner Bracket Final as Oshawa takes on Quebec. Quebec still undefeated through the tournament and Oshawa has redemption on its mind after a heartbreaking late game comeback by Quebec in Round Robin proved to much for Ontario#3 team. See you at the ballpark today it promises to be a great day of softball. Oh yeah - there's all sorts of things todo - eat great food - Grab a souvenir, or stay cool with a nice cold drink. 50/50 draw will be tonight

Tavistock plays at 10AM at Queen's Park. Come out and show your support for your home town boys who are playing their hearts out! It will be a tough game facing there local rivals the New Hamburg team. Let's pack those stands and be the 10th man on the field!!!

Stratford Ontario Cubs and Conquest Jr Coyotes Saskatchewan. Spending time with the 3-7 year olds at camp Alliwanado during the Jr men's National Championship. Very proud of these Quality young men. Share if you have played catch with a child and enjoyed it. Their smile is infectious. These kids have a lot of heroes after this week. Thanks guys!
