Olympic heroes - national heroes.

It was a beautiful Remembrance Ceremony today. Hazel West's speech about being a war bride was humorous and poignant. The video tribute to local veterans was powerful. So thankful to all the veterans and active service people. Thanks to all who helped with the ceremony. Thanks to all who attended. We will remember them.
Veterans Dinner 2017
100th anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele. We will remember them.
Remembrance Day Ceremony Taber's events begin with a flag ceremony at the cemetery at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 11th. This is open to veterans, family, and the public. If you are attending the ceremony at the civic we recommend getting there well ahead of time. The place fills up fast. The ceremony will begin at 10:45 and the minute of silence at 11:00 am. There is a luncheon in the Legion Hall after the ceremony for $15.00 per person. Veterans complimentary.
