GET A RELIABLE RECALL GUARANTEED! Steer clear of any training advice that promises a quick-fix solution. Your dog is an intelligent, living creature NOT a machine. Only extreme pain /punishment can temporarily override your dogs natural instincts and reactions. In my opinion, the use of any device or method that inflicts pain is a cheap, barbaric patch to a much bigger problem. And that is the problem.... Never has there been a lasting relationship that was built on a foundation of fear. A great relationship is built on the trust and respect that has been consistently displayed over the years. Your dog knows this, but unfortunately too many people aren't willing to make time for this to develop. There are trainers offering an easy 3-step program, a $1000.00 investment, a high-tech collar and a 100% compliance to your commands and demands. Here's a better investment.....spend TIME with your dog. Be the kind of person that your dog wants to come back to. Even the tiniest of dogs need training and a good leader. Toy breeds are often given privileges that larger breeds would never get away with. Remember that behind those big brown eyes is a dog that deserves to be treated and respected as a DOG. 😊🐕
