Palomino yearlings are available for purchase. These two were being purchased on a payment plan and the buyer had unforseen difficulties and asked for a return of her payments. We have done this and now they are again available. THey are going to mature around 30 inches, possibly a bit less for the filly. Colt is AMHA/AMHR and has been shown professionally in his weanling year. Filly is AMHR only and very refined. Private message for details. The buyer had intended to use them for therapy. They have the same sire.

I want to thank everyone for coming to the driving clinic today. Jenna Cino is the original "horse whisperer"...what a great job she did and everone went away with some very good information. I had people asking me to be sure to let them know for any future clinics we might be planning. We haven't made any plans for more clinics, but will be glad to try to put one together if there are any suggestions for future gatherings. We enjoy having people at the farm and like to share information. If there are 15 to 20 people interested in a topic we are able to do it for 20.00 a person and provide lunch. Again...many thanks for your company today <3

We had a mare that we suspect got some stomach impaction by possibly ingestion of hair with all the mutual grooming going on with shedding friends. Our Vet attended on two occasions to tube and hydrate as she was very uncomfortable and ignoring food and water. Just a reminder that if possible try to keep loose hair removed . She is doing well now, but it was looking very serious for a while. If anyone is interested in our process in dealing with the issue just private message us for the information that got us thru

I had a reminder from Facebook that Nixons Hill had not updated for a while. Here's an update....reminder that the Jenna Cino driving clinic will be running this Saturday, April 29th...10 until 2 ish....lunch incuded, hamburg and a drink....$20.00. Our clinic on April 9th was a big success and hopefully this one is every bit as good :) all are welcome and Jenna puts on an excellent clinic with tons of useful information.for al driving enthusiasts

Thanks to all the attendees who graced Nixon Hill with their attendance at the clinic. Jenn Cino gave excellent presentations on halter showing, Showmanship, Obstacles and Show Clipping. Thanks to Lori and Scott Stevens for the great b.b.q. lunch.....many great tips on setting up and presenting our horses.

Two clinics are planned for Nixons Hill Farms. Tentatively........... April 8th and April 29th from 10 until 2:30 or longer if required... Both Clinics will be hosted by Nixons Hill Farms and taught by Jenna Cino. The first clinic on April 8th will involve training for "In Hand Obstacles" "Showmanship" and "Driving Obtacles"....at the end there will be a show clipping demonstration. The second Clinic on April 29th will be a driving clinic....getting the horse ready to drive and then driving your horse and being critiqued. The cost will be 20.00 per person for each clinic and this will include B.B.Q. lunch supplied by Nixons Hill. The clinics will be limited to 20 attendees and will not be "a go" should there be "little interest" Please private message with your intentions to attend and we will confirm clinic as "AN Event " as soon as the minimum requirement is met.....any questions ..p.m. a.s.a.p. so we can get the clinic on track :) You can bring your horse or just attend as an auditor....Cost is 20.00 per person per clinic ......
