What is dementia? On Wednesday, March 7, 2018 the Centennial Library will be hosting the information session “Understanding Dementia”. Join us to learn about the warning signs, the risk factors, and the ways to reduce the risk of dementia. The program is from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Reserve your seat by calling 705.759.5236 or by emailing lib.info1@cityssm.on.ca. This free program is open to anyone interested in learning more about dementia.

Every day that ability to have access to materials is challenged for a variety of reasons from political to personal. Calling all music buffs! Its time for fun 60s - 80s music themed quizzes and some friendly competition. Teaming up again with Shot in the Dark Productions for an amazing adult night out (19+)! Come alone ($15) or bring a a team of up to team of four ($50). Cash bar to keep the fun loose and prizes to keep that competitive edge. We look forward to seeing you March 22nd at 7pm at your Centennial Public Library. The last quiz night was to capacity so reserve your spot early! Registration opens 9 am on Monday February 26th with tickets available for purchase in person (no holds) at either the Korah Branch or Centennial Library. See you there!

Animals really calm the heart with their pure intentions and innocence. You can feel stress just fall away as you enjoy each other's company and what couldn't be great about that! We are teaming up with Sault Ste Marie Kennel Club and TLC at our Korah Branch on #February 22nd at 1pm. 5 amazing dogs will be there to make new friends and help relieve stress. Enjoy this unique experience with these furry wonders.
