Summer Day Camps 2016 - Jungle Jim's Playcentre Inc.

We all know Moms and Dads still need to work even though the wild ones are going to be set free for the summer! So to assist and make the line at the Stress Management Centre shorter...;)... Jungle Jim's is excited to announce our Summer Day Camps for 2016. Beginning on July 4, 2016 Jungle Jim’s Play Centre will be hosting a Summer Day Camp experience for any children who have been pre-enrolled for this experience. This experience will include all of Jungle Jim’s usual amenities such as Jim’s 2 tier Jungle Climber, arcade games and playground fun. In addition we will be doing arts and crafts and some additional fun learning refreshers so our Wild-ones can keep their minds as well as their bodies in shape over the summer break. Camps run from 9 AM-4 PM Monday – Friday while Stat Holidays will be excluded. Camps will be priced at $150/week or $30/day per child. Camps Run Monday July 4 – Friday July 8, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday July 11 – Friday July 15, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday July 18 – Friday July 22, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday July 25 – Friday July 29, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday August 2 – Friday August 5, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday August 8 – Friday August 12, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday August 15 – Friday August 19, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday August 22 – Friday August 26, 2016 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Preregistration and payment is required for all Day Camp Attendees. Weekly registratons will take precedence over a daily attendee and drop-ins to the day camps will not be accepted without prior notice and approval. In order for us to properly schedule events please register your child 2 weeks before the camp begins. Missed days without proper notice (at least 24hours) will not be refunded. Spaces are limited so please call or sign up today to avoid missing out. Children aged 4-14 will be accepted with some possible exceptions. Jungle Jim’s cannot accept children who have separation anxiety or are not properly potty trained. Due to legal reasons we cannot help your child in the bathroom. Please if your child has a condition where they require extra attention please seek out a solution with appropriately trained professionals. Jungle Jim's will open Friday April 15, 2016 at 10am until 4:30pm due to an evening event. However it is a NCDSB PD day today. So we shall open early due to customer requests. Thank you folks for the idea to open early it never hurts to ask. If you ever need a change to our hours just ask. If we can accommodate we will. Jungle Jim's is happy to unveil our Hours of Operation Calendar. Up until now it has been very hard to communicate dynamically to our clientele when we are closed for Private Events. Up until now I have relied on Facebook posts and website posts to show when we were closed. Our new Hours of Operation Calendar is now live on our website at http://www.junglejimsplaycentre.com/hours-of-operation/ It shows all our confirmed Party bookings and should you wish to drop in play simply check the calendar. It will show the start time of any given event. We close to the public 30 mins before any listed event and will open again 30 mins after any events completion. Each event will run 2 hours. We also shall be changing our hours on Google website to reflect our closures. This shall be how we communicate closures due to illness as well. We will still be listing closures due to illness or inclement weather by Facebook and Website posts for your convenience. This new feature should help a lot and I am very thankful of the work Peter Kaloudis over at PK Media Lab has done to bring this solution forward. We thank everyone for their support and we hope these new measures help eliminate any of you showing up for Public Play and not being able to enter. As always we thank each and everyone of you for your continued support and as always a quick phone call is still the most reliable way of knowing if we are open for Public Play. Jungle Jim's will be closed for Public play on Saturday April 9, 2016 but we will have full Public hours on Sunday April 10, 2016. We thank you all for getting us to this stage. Thanks again!

Jungle Jim's needs your help so we can help others. We are routinely asked for donations to all kinds of causes. We want to continue to help but we just cannot afford this on our own. Help us help others. Thank you all!

Unfortunately due to illness Jungle Jim's Play Centre will remain closed today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will be open as usual on Thursday March 31, 2016. Jungle Jim's will be closed on Monday March 28, 2016. We apologize however there is a very important meeting we must attend. We had told a few by phone we would be open so we feel extra bad that we are now not opening however as stated before this meeting is very important. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Happy Easter to all.

Due to a private event Thursday March 24, 2016 Jungle Jim's will be closed to the public. As well March 25, 2016 is Good Friday so again we will be closed to the public. We will be open from 3:30pm until 6:30pm on Saturday March 26 and open as usual the rest of the holiday weekend. Thank you all for your continued support.

Open play will be cancelled Monday March 21, 2016 due to illness. March break was fun but wore my immune system down. I hope to be bright eyed and bushy tailed Tuesday but we shall see. ;) We apologize to anyone who wanted drop in play today but I just feel too yucky and it is better to keep the germs out of the Play Centre. I am sure all parents agree! Thanks to everyone for our continued success at Jungle Jim's!

Due to Private events Open play is cancelled this weekend March 19 & 20th due to Private events. Thank you once again for your patience and patronage.

We are celebrating "private" events all weekend so we must apologize for open play cancellations. Unfortunately we cannot perform private parties and host drop-in play at the same time. On the bright side we are open 10-4:30pm all week long during the March break. Thank you to all for your patience but our Private parties always will take precedence as they are what pay the bills in the long run. We do appreciate our drop in customers as well unfortunately there just aren't enough of you yet to pay all the bills. I am working on a calendar that automatically updates my open play hours to reflect our party schedule but it seems to be taking longer than expected. I assure you all my web designer is working to make your lives a bit easier. However as always calling before venturing out is the most accurate way to see if we are open for drop in play.
