facebook.comMount Cartier ⛰ Continuing on our theme from Wednesday, we wanted to introduce you to another of our favorite peaks around #Revelstoke Mount Cartier is another prominent peak in the Selkirks near town. Pictured here is the SW face, nicknamed the Greenslide. One of the largest avalanche paths in Canada at around 2000m long, it has a history of historic slides going as far as spilling into the Columbia River. In 1977 an avalanche partially dammed the river, and in 2014, a slide deposited almost 8 meters of debris onto the road below, closing it for several days. However imposing, it is a sight to behold. #WhyWeLoveRevy

Today is our 1 year anniversary! We're so lucky to be able to welcome amazing guests each and every day to our little corner of paradise. To everyone who has stayed, dined, worked hard, advocated for, and built up both us and Quartermaster Eatery, we thank you. #tomanymore
The sun is out today ☀️ and we couldn't be more excited to get back into the mountains! But with clearing skies and stabilizing snow comes lots of risk. Mark Bender, a senior forecaster at Avalanche Canada, said the following: “The decrease in natural avalanches coupled with improved weather and the long weekend is a classic situation where skiers and snowmobilers venture into more aggressive terrain where they might trigger avalanches themselves or be struck from above,” Stay safe, know the snow, and enjoy the sunshine ✌️
Just a few days until the amazing Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival visits Revelstoke! Head down to the Roxy Theatre Revelstoke Monday through Wednesday for a spectacular show each night. $20 for 1, $35 for 2, and $50 for all 3! Check out the trailer from their grand prize winner, Becoming Who I Was, from director Moon Chang-yong and producer Jin Jeon. Inspiring to say the least. Tickets now available at the Revelstoke Visitors Center!
With half a meter of snow coming in, it's a wonderful time to get #Revelstuck! It just hasn't stopped snowing, but we're not complaining 😉 #BCStorm
Cloudy storm days have us thinking about clear summer nights 🌙 Winter travellers often ask us how the summers here are, and we just have one response: Amazing.
