The Victoria Hospital Foundation is the registered charity charged with "enhancing and enriching" health care at the Victoria Regional Hospital. The Victoria Hospital Foundation is the registered charity charged with the task of "enhancing and enriching" the quality of health care at the Victoria Regional Hospital. In recent years we have raised funds for numerous pieces of medical equipment that needed to be replaced or upgraded. There is a continuing need for funding due in part to the rapid advances being made in medical treatments available and the technology of today.
Currently the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is completing the Victoria Regional Hospital Campus: Role and Scope of Services Study. The goal is to identify the Victoria Regional Hospital's needs and services to the year 2025. A decision on the study findings and the type of re-development or expansion required at the Victoria Regional Hospital is anticipated in the months ahead. The Victoria Hospital Foundation will be tasked with securing the "community" portion of funding necessary to proceed. Raising the funds will be a large and challenging goal requiring significant support from Prince Albert and every community served by the Victoria Regional Hospital.

A message from our Pharmacy Staff: Our department chooses a local charity each Christmas to be our project and then try to determine how best to help them through the holiday season. Here is the photo of our senior pharmacist Deanne Dowling presenting Christmas gifts donated by our dept to the P.A. Women's Shelter. We feel especially fortunate to have been this years recipient of the funds from "Give a little Life Day" in order to purchase much needed equipment for our pharmacy. It is our mission to continue to work towards optimal pharmaceutical care for the patients in our acute care facility and for all members of our community.
