Description
You're an athlete & so is your Equine partner. I'm here to help keep your Equine Partner feeling & performing at their optimum! Hello,
I'm Dustin Hewitt. I'm from Pincher Creek, Alberta. I have grown up in a ranching family of Richard and Charity Hewitt, brother Lyle. I have been around horses all my life. From riding checking cows or the years of rodeoing competitively through the Wrangler Junior High School Rodeo Association and through up
to the ranks of Alberta High School Rodeo Association. Competing in Team Roping, Calf Roping, and Steer Wrestling. Making it as a finalist to compete at the National Finals located in New Mexico, USA. From there went on to rodeo (Team Roping) in the Foothills Cowboy Association.
I completed a two year program at the British Columbia College of Equine Therapy (BCCET) in Vernon, B.C. under the instruction of Dave Collins. After multiple exams, hundreds of case studies, and countless hours of practice, I became a certified Equine Therapist.
Onto personal life I am a new dad! Kelsey and I started our lives together right after I started school in B.C.. She has been a huge help in the success of the company. On February 14, 2016 we welcomed a son into our lives, Wylie Joseph Hewitt. We look forward to our future together and our growing family!

Love getting feedback from new clients! Saw this horse last week Hi Dustin, just wanted to let you know I rode my mare today. She felt awesome! Really loose and happy. Her left lead is still not as strong, which I expected since she's gone for so long with it hurting. But she wasn't falling over herself and wasn't stressed about it so that's a big improvement. Yay! Thanks again for working on her ( Melanie from leth)
Today was outstanding. A week and a half ago I received a call about a horse with swelling on his hind end. After assessing him, doing a treatment and giving my prognosis, I gave my client a referral to see a vet. Today I had the pleasure of going to the vet appointment to watch and listen. After watching the vet do his assessment and give his prognosis, we came to the exact same conclusion. Gained so much new excellent knowledge from him in accordance to this particular injury along with many other things I have been encountering this season.

Ok. So we've been trying to brainstorm what to do with our Runaway 100k slot this year. Last year we did a giveaway draw (every time you had a horse worked on your name went in). What are some ideas you would like to see this year?
