The Pictou Lobster Hatchery is a part of the Northumberland Fisheries Museum and is the only operational lobster hatchery in Canada that is accessible to the public. Come & visit to see Stage I - Stage IV lobster larvae - adopt your own baby lobster!

facebook.comThe Northumberland Fisheries Museum is finishing up a great summer, and will be operating at reduced hours from today on. For the month of September, the museum will be open from 10 until 3, Monday to Friday, and closed on weekends, except for days that cruise ships will be docked in Pictou Harbour.
We’re restocked with signs, come in and gets yours before they sell out again! Open until 5 today, reopening at 10 am tomorrow.
