Well the jurying is complete and we are going to Delight all our customers with the superior line up of talent we are representing for our 2017 season opening May 19 - October 2, open daily from 10-5 daily.

Remember the Humble Bundles we had Weathering out in the trees. for the past 11 months; well just wait to see what we did with them when we took the Bundles apart! The work is in progress! MInnie and I are having a ball creating Weathered and Worn! They will be finished in time for our opening May 19

WE are READY for YOU!! Call OUT!! Gallery97, Peachland, B.C. Call to Artist Guidelines: April 7, 2017 Gallery97 is a seasonal gallery open May 19 to October 2, 2017 whose mandate is to promote artists and artisans from the Okanagan. We provide a venue for discussion and appreciation of the works of the artists we represent. Gallery97 sells art, glass and pottery that is one of a kind and has been produced in the Okanagan Valley. We are dedicated to enhancing our visitors experience in the gallery through visual stimulation, activities and participation. Our Artists are committed to presenting unique works of excellence. General Guidelines for Exhibiting Art at Gallery97 1. Our first show of the season runs from May 19 – July 30, 2017 2. Digital images of NO more than 3 works may be submitted to: ArtGalleryon97@gmail.com NO LATER than May 7. Please include in your submission the size and price of the pieces 3. Submissions can include paintings of any medium, drawings, pottery, stained glass, glass fusion and sculpture. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ART WORKS UNDER GLASS, PHOTOGRAPHY OR GICLEE’S 4. A yearly non-refundable fee of $25 is required to exhibit in Gallery97. All exhibitors must have their fee to Gallery97 prior to May 7 for their application to be considered. You can: a. Drop off a cheque or cash at Gallery97 between noon – 3 p.m. on May 5 or 6 OR b. Phone Gallery97 to have the fee processed on your VISA or MC PHONE: 250 808 0765 any time prior to May 7 5. You will be notified of acceptance by email no later than May 10 6. Art works will be dropped off at the Gallery May 14 or 15 from 11 – 3 7. POTTERY will be dropped off May 16 or 17 from 11-3 8. When you drop off your works you will complete an inventory sheet. 9. Artists are responsible to insure their art and will be required to sign a waiver absolving Gallery97 of any responsibility caused by fire, flood, vandalism etc. 10. All paintings must be delivered ready to hang and must be clearly labeled on the back with artist’s name, and contact information (a business card will suffice) 11. All artists are to provide a printed biography for our binder 12. 40% commission will be deducted from the gross sale proceeds of each piece of art, 35% commission will be deducted for all other works submitted 13. Cheques will be issued at the end of each month for all sales. 14. Art Tags will be provided by Gallery97 15. All chosen works will be showing for sale from May 19 – July 30, 2017. 16. The open House for the first showing will be Sunday, June 4 from 1-4 at the Gallery. We ask that you attend and invite family and friends. 17. We are excited to announce our 3rd Year of operation opening May 19 and open everyday until Oct. 2. We promise an amazing collection of Art, pottery, and glass works all made in the Okanagan Valley and very proud to be celebrating 150 years of Made in Canada! Artists get ready for the Call out coming April 7.

All gone, closed down, everybody has picked up their unsold works, flags are down and signs in until Next May. Thank you all for a terrific season. See you in 2017!
Timeline Photos
Well the season has flown by but we are still getting our fall customers until Oct. 10. We have seen twice as many people this year in our gallery than our first year. We thank all our artists for making the STOP one they rave about! We are now closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
