Hi Everyone, Here are the minutes from April’s Board of Trade meeting: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsjwkUQwa4lrhCTxAByrUpSAmZO8 Also, I have to ask you all to allow me to postpone the meeting for May until next Tuesday, the 16th. I have far too much going on in my work right now to be able to attend this week as we had planned. That said, I hope to have a final draft of the tourism map ready to present next week, and have a few other updates to provide you at that time. Thank you for your help with this. I’ll get an agenda and firm date & time off to everyone in the next day or so by email as well as post here on our Facebook page. Best, Doug

Thank you to everyone for participating in the annual Tree Lighting on Friday night - we had a very good turnout (visual estimate of 100-120). Taylor, the Bandstand looked great! Your idea of putting the sleigh on it was an excellent one. It seems that every child there had a photo taken sitting in the sleigh. Wonderful memories! Ross, thanks for providing music and being the MC of the evening, Norman for representing the Municipality and Jacquie for spreading the word of the event by FB. David, please say thank you to the choir for finishing off the evening with some lively seasonal tunes! We extend our thanks to OHW Queen 2016 Genny McCulley for coming and helping with the draw. She also was asked to pose in a number of photos with the children, which she did graciously. The free family movie at The Hall immediately after had 45 children and some adults out. Thank you to Rob Bentley, projectionist and Nancy Curleigh, Brenda Wheaton, Trish Burke , Barb Amon and Nancy’s friend Joanie for being on hand.
