We have 3 adorable 9 week old puppies at the shelter who are ready to go home today! If you are interested in meeting one of the puppies, we are open 11-4pm Today. <3 *Please understand that we are unable to put animals on HOLD over the phone or via email, you must meet the animal and visit us in person to ensure you are the right match! Please also realize, even though our website is live and updates frequently, we cannot ensure the animal is still available for adoption when you arrive at the shelter. There is a chance the animal you have an interest in may have been adopted by the time you arrive, or another party might be going through the adoption process at that present time*
Sweet little Angel didn’t have to wait too long after being returned from foster care to did her forever home. Angel was returned on Weds evening after her spay appointment and was swiftly adopted yesterday morning. Have a great life Angel!! ❤️
Sweet, adorable, shy Lucky, didn’t have to stay with us very long before heading off to his forever home. Lucky will get to travel with his guardian to work and enjoy hiking on local trails. We are so happy for you sweet boy. Here’s to a wonderful new life! 🐶❤️
*** UPDATE*** We got more donations in from Lighthouse veterinary hospital and Seaside veterinary care plus some from the public. This brings the grand total collected to $1886!!!!! Thank you to Betty Troyanek and Lois Henderson for baking the cupcakes <3 The results are in for National Cupcake Day. A huge thank you to Bellevue Veterinary Hospital, Oceanside Animal Hospital and Qualicum Animal Hospital who participated in the Cupcake Day fundraiser this past weekend. A total of $1140 has been raised!! We know we have some more donors who are still collecting donations for this event, We thought we'd let everyone know how much has been raised thus far!! <3 Thank you to everyone who participated by doing an event, making cupcakes and of course the wonderful people who have purchased cupcakes!!!
Milo was adopted from our shelter back in October and we received an update! We're so happy to hear that you're doing great, Milo! "A little update on Milo. We adopted him from you in October and couldn't be any happier with him!! What a wonderful dog! He's been a great addition to our family, thank you!!
***Charlie is now available for adoption*** He has no tattoo, not neutered, and no ID. He was brought into our shelter by Parksville Animal Control. Please help us get this sweet boy home!
