In October of 2011, at Roundhouse Park, formerly the John Street yards, Toronto, a team member took these photos of London and South Western Railway T3 4-4-0 #563 which was shipped to Canada from Britain in April of 2011 to prepare for an Autumn show “The Railway Children”. #563 was built in 1893 at Nine Elms in London and ran until 1945. Can any of our followers provide insight into which railway company would have owned this passenger car #3604 and where and approximately when this photo might have been taken?

Photo from the "Observer" January 11, 1962, pg 5. Howard Locking was plowing the sidewalks on King Street. On pg 12 of the same newspaper is a reference to a Council decision at its first meeting of 1962. "Mr. Howard Locking was hired to plow the town's sidewalks at an hourly rate of $3.00 with one horse. If the plowing required a team of horses, the hourly rate would be $5.00."

We believe that this is part of a box into which Conductor Crowley would have placed his personal property as he traveled on the railway years ago. Any insight into this by our F.B. followers?

Attached is a photo of the cover of the C.N. Magazine published in July 1939. Would our followers, who as children witnessed the King and Queen on tour by rail in Canada in May and June of 1939, share their stories, and photos (if any)? In the Spring of 1939, both the C.N.R. and C.P.R. co-operated in taking the Royal Couple on various routes throughout the country. The C.N. used their famous 6400's and we believe that C.P. used similar engines to the C.N.'s Hudson's.
