There is a place to develop and improve these skills. This place is East OttawaToastmasters. At every East Ottawa meeting you will have the opportunity to learn leadership skills, and impromptu/off the cuff speaking skills.  Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you had been asked a question and didn’t know how to reply?  Or maybe you had to organize a meeting or event and didn’t know where to start?  What about having had to critique a work colleague?  The great thing is that you get to tackle these skills at your own pace.

And we must never forget that Toastmasters is also about speaking.  We have 2-3 speaking opportunities at every meeting.  Our speakers vary from beginners to advanced speakers and we all receive excellent feedback in order to assist us in our future speeches and speaking endeavours.

So whether you are looking to be a better leader or a better speaker, East Ottawa Toastmasters is for you.  Drop by for a free visit.  Please check our schedule for meeting dates.  You will be warmly greeted and welcomed with open arms.  I truly look forward to seeing you.

East Ottawa Toastmasters is more than just a speech.
