WR Davey Insurance was officially formed in December 2011 but our history has ties to previous brokerages spanning over 100 years. Previously we were part of Davey and Benn Insurance (formed in May 1999) and prior to that we were part of Alan Gill & Co. (formed in 1870). WR Davey Insurance marks a new beginning for our brokerage as a solely owned and operated family business.

On the flip side we are happy to welcome Sonya Tiekstra to the team. Like Carolyn she brings several years of experience in the industry and will continue to facilitate our renewal review process. The Ontario government has made it mandatory for all insurance companies to offer a winter tire discount as of January 1, 2016. Most companies are allowing you to add the discount to your policy as of January 1st but some companies aren't allowing it until your policy renewal date. Call your broker for more details.
