Mamidosewin Centre Aboriginal Student Centre at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. First Nations, Inuit and Métis students studying at Algonquin College Mamidosewin Centre offers cultural activities and support to students who self identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  All services are available for free and open to current registered students at the college.
We offer:
- Academic, career and personal support with an Aboriginal counsellor.
- Budgeting, time management, study skills, and bursary application support with an Aboriginal student success specialist.
- Employment Support - Job coaching, resume support, interview preparation and referrals through the DevelopMentor Program.
- A Cultural Events Coordinator organizers: monthly feasts, craft circles, lunches, drumming, social events, movies, karaoke etc.
- Cree School Board Liaison available to meet with students at the Mamidosewin Centre for students funded through CSB.
- Part time peer support workers are hired - must be full time students that have a strong GPA and leadership qualities.

Financial Aid and Student Awards will be hosting an information session for our students on paying back their OSAP once they graduate (or exit the College). It is a perfect opportunity for our graduating students to learn more about what comes next! The session will be hosted at the HUB from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on April 13 – this Thursday (no registration required). The guest speaker, Marc Guindon, will be from the National Student Loan Centre.
