Its Family day weekend every one. That means it is a perfect opportunity to introduce friends and family to Ice Fishing. No Licences are required this weekend, but after the fun they have, I am sure they will head out and get one to continue the fun. Get out, and stay warm every one...

Yes there is still lots of places to fish out there and I see Island lake is full of huts almost every day with their February Pike Derby in full swing. I took the time this morning to do a little bit of predator control out there. A farmer recently called me and said they were having a real issue with coyotes on their property so I went to go see if I could help. This is the third taken off this property in the last 4 weeks. This 42 lb female will not be having pups this year, that should help out a little bit. Who else is out there trying to do their part with some predator control?

Minnows, Minnows, Minnows. We are now open early Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Don't show up to your local lake and find out they are out of stock yet again for minnows. All our bait is 'Certified', Tested and 'VHS' free. Which means our bait can be safely transported anywhere and used without worry.
