We are excited to announce that Bruce "KRATOS" Cartwright has accepted the position of 9Round Okotoks MANAGER! Bruce quickly became a fixture in the gym since his arrival late last year. When he isn't on the floor training members he is often on the floor doing his own workout, or from time to time he can be seen walking on his hands! Crazy!!! We love Bruce's positive outlook, technical abilities and most of all his creativity with member workouts and challenges. We know he is a good fit for the vibe at 9Round Okotoks! I show up at the time I want (not at the time that I have to sign up for), and I am instructed and shown - or I like to say - I am told what to do - in quite a nice way by the best personal trainers. So much easier than going to a big box gym and being so unmotivated that I don’t do enough or don’t want to go back. I decided to incorporate my most important value of taking care of myself (after not doing this for a while) through eating well and working out and I even lost 18 pounds. I haven’t veered from working out at least three times a week since I joined and I feel so much better - not about losing weight necessarily, although it’s great, but about taking care of ME. Oh and most of the folks are younger than me, but I can keep up just fine at my age!
