Norwich Arts & Culture Centre
Description
NACC is located in the downtown core of Norwich, Ontario. The building is one of the town's first buildings, built around the 1900s. It's has known many uses over the course of it's establishment; it initially served as a bakery, and an convenience store known as "The Pop Shoppe" mid-century. It has retained some of it's original architectural details, such as the punched-tin ceiling and exposed brick walls.
The Centre was created to be used as a cultural and community hub for Norwich and the surrounding area. We hope to become home to some of Oxford Counties finest entrepreneures and community gatherings. We will strive to help our community of tenants achieve success, and feel comfortable and at home in our space.
This is the perfect space for you! Ground level with street presence, this fabulous raw space features high ceilings, and flooded with natural lighting throughout the day.
The floor plan of the NACC as a cultural and community hub, is a single floor large open-concept area with a wet-bar to the rear and two private wash chambers with a communal wash basin. The venue is functional for hosting 75-90 guests.
Our beautiful studio space boasts an abundance of natural light with large east-facing windows, original punched tin ceiling tiles, exposed brick interior, water resistant laminate and air conditioning. Perfect for an intimate gathering for any season, exhibiting your art work, or hosting a workshop.
NACC is now the active studio space for Alisha Stubbs Yoga Instructor, Sip & Paint Nite with Tara King and Tara King Photography. Stop in and ask to see her portfolio or visit for more information.
The NACC has most recently hosted Norwich Optimist Tween Dances & Tractor Pull Meetings, Norwich InsideU Women's Health Information, Splatz Kids Crafting, Cooking in the Kitchen with Kirby, Caruk & Associates Monthly Sales Meetings, and numerous Family Gatherings/Celebrations form families throughout the community.
