The Wait is OVER!!! The 2018 Outlander PHEV has Finally Arrived!! Introducing (To North America) the Worlds BEST SELLING Plug-In Hybrid SUV! 4 Wheel Drive, 3.2Le/100km Combined Fuel economy, Seating for 5, and cargo space galore! Standard equipment includes our Super All Wheel control System, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Backup Camera, Leather trimmed seats, 18" Alloy Wheels, Heated Seats, Blind spot warning, Rear Cross traffic alert, Push button ignition. The list is endless!! Just to give you an idea of what this means to you. This plug in Hybrid is mainly used as an electric vehicle, but will engage a gas engine when needed (either to recharge the battery or to power the wheels) You can drive 35km on purely electric without engaging the gas engine. So the regular commute to work and groceries can be done without using a drop of fuel. To fully charge the battery will take 8 hours when plugged into a regular household plug, or 3.5 hours if you have a 240 Volt charger installed in your home. When we recharged the battery from dead to 100% at the dealership, it cost us $0.60.
