The arena will be closed from 4-6pm tonight for a private function.

The Nanton Ag Society will be hosting a Junior High School Rodeo on Friday, May 5th and a High School Rodeo Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th at the Ag grounds. The grounds will be closed until Monday in order to prepare and host this event.

2017 NAGS Arena Rules *Users must purchase a riding pass PRIOR to riding in the arena *Please abide by the signs. If the sign says the arena is closed, please do not ride in it. We will do our best to post the status of the arena at www.nantonagsociety.com on the live events calendar. *Absolutely no riding when the area is wet *When working barrels, we ask that you reverse the pattern (begin your run from the south) *If you have been working barrels or poles, please use the hand rakes under the small red building to rake the ground around the barrels and poles, then put them back under the building *Please put all barrels and poles away when you are finished in the arena. *Please clean up after yourself (garbage, tape, horse hair, etc.) *If these rules are not Followed YOUR RIDING PASS MAY BE REVOKED!

The arena will be open for riding starting Monday, April 24th. Users MUST purchase a season's riding pass prior to using the arena. Passes are $30 per person or $50 for a family and can be purchased at Cowboy Country Clothing in Nanton. Please review the 2017 NAGS user rules sheet, as failure to abide by the arena rules could result in your riding privileges being revoked. All arena closures will be posted in the Facebook page and the live events calendar on the website.

Rodeo Connection

The Nanton Ag Society would like to pass along our respects to the family of Bruce Flewelling. Bruce was always such a great supporter and friend of the Nanton Ag Society, Canadian High School Finals Rodeo, and Nanton Nite Rodeo.... always bringing something the kids can ride, and passing along horses that were either retired or up and comers for our summer rodeos. We will miss him.

A reminder of the AGM tonight at the Curling Rink Lounge at 7:00pm

We will be holding our AGM on January 7th at 7:00pm at the Nanton Curling Club. Any users of the Nanton Ag grounds are encouraged to attend. Please share!

Nanton lights the Way SALE Weekend

The Ag grounds will be closed for the season starting October 1st so we can do some ground maintenance. We will re-open in May.Please do not ride until we have announced that the grounds have been re-opened as we may have some maintenance happening in the spring as well.
