❄ Water Services Freezing to Home and Buisnesses ❄ On November 21st, 2017, the Town of Moosomin wrote a letter to private homes and business locations which are known to be prone to freezing, and requested that you run your water. However, if you did not receive this letter and you had freezing water issues in prior years, please run a tap very slowly at all times, and be sure to call The Town of Moosomin Office at (306) 435 2988 to advise, so this can be recorded for water billing purposes. Residential Garbage Collection/Landfill Operation for the Holiday Season 🎄 Be advised that all residential garbage collection for the Holiday season, will be collected as follows: - Monday December 25/17 will be picked up on Wednesday December 27/17 - Tuesday December 26/17, Wednesday December 27/17, and Thursday December 28/17 will be picked up as usual per regular schedule. Public Notice: The Town of Moosomin currently has a broken sewer main, and want to keep traffic off of the roadway as much as possible till repairs are completed. As such, the Ellice Street CPR crossing be blocked off to traffic between North Front Street and South Front Street. It is expected that the repairs will take two to three weeks, and once it is completed, the barricades will be removed and opened up to traffic once again. PUBLIC NOTICE: Due to the ongoing issue of people depositing non-compostable items at the open access area of the landfill just off Wright Road, with items such as; - an old mattress - Old wheelbarrow - Wire - Garbage Bags - Concrete - and many, many other non-compostable landfill items This section of open fence will be blocked-off, and the public will require entrance through the main access gate at the Landfill. This means that the compost items such as; grass, leaves, small twigs, and tree branches or trees, will still be able to be deposited free of charge, however, will only be able to be done during regular landfill hours of operation.
