From its days as a winter campsite and conflict-free trading area for the first peoples, to its current incarnation as the soul of the Friendly City, Wakamow Valley has offered respite from the prairie winds.

Wakamow Valley continues to live on as a peaceful haven in the heart of the city. It is a four-season urban park and conservation agency that is open twelve months a year.

Located just minutes from the city centre, the River of Turns is ready and willing to share its splendor. It is ready and willing to open its natural world to all who accept the invitation.

Whether you are looking to host a group event or merely seeking a break from everyday busyness, Wakamow Valley has a place for you. It has opportunities and facilities to meet your every need and awaits your presence.

FYI - while the road into the valley is plowed it is due to a water main break so traffic flow is restricted in the park along River Drive towards The Burger Cabin

🎉 A big shout out to our Maintenance Manager Blain. He's done one heck of a job clearing the parking lots and trails after that snowfall. Be sure to give him a thumbs up if you see him plowing in the park.
