Dr. Doumit  is consistently in demand as a guest lecturer at plastic and reconstructive surgery meetings in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Doumit writes about plastic surgery topics, including facelifts, facial implants, rhinoplasty and body contouring.  He has authored 3 book chapters and over 30 scientific articles relating to plastic surgery.  He is also a member of the editorial board of the journal of craniofacial surgery.

Dr. Doumit is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for general surgery and plastic surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Doumit is currently the chair of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery Courses.  He is also on the executive board of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery.
