Welcome to Port Credit Smiles! Dr. Jordan Alley, Dr. Emeric Bacso and our long-standing dental team are committed to restoring and enhancing your smile! We are honoured that you are considering us for your dental care. Dr. Emeric Bacso opened the Port Credit Smiles office in 1975. With a long-standing dental team and dental colleague, Dr. Jordan Alley, the office provides high quality dentistry in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to patients of all ages and of all dental needs.
Our dentists and team strive to develop a solid, trusting relationship with each of our patients to help them to better understand the importance of oral health and address their dental concerns and anxieties. We do our best to get to know each patient and gain a better understanding of their unique dental problems before recommending a course of action.

Shortly it will become compulsory for senior citizens to carry not only their ID, but also their insurance documents, their prescription list, a compact version of their medical file, the statement declaring if they want to be resuscitated after a heart attack, stroke, etc. etc. Consequently, a lot of paperwork will have to be carried when a senior citizen goes out the front door OR When they Travel! Specifically for this purpose, a special "Senior USB Stick" has been developed. Wow! Two Bites of information. Blue Tooth technology to fit your lifestyle. Expanded Memory can be arranged. For April Fool's Day, here are 10 Funny Ancient Toothache Remedies for your entertainment....not recommended by our Port Credit Smiles dental team ;) 1. Spider Juice - a toothache remedy made of spiders, eggshells, & oil boiled & held in the mouth 2. Frogs - Spit in a frog's mouth for toothache relief or put a frog to the cheek or to the head on the same side of toothache....ribbit ribbit 3. Fingernails - Trim your nails on Friday & the toothache will be gone for a week 4. Tooth worms & Honey - the pain of a toothache was thought to be caused by a toothworm that appeared spontaneously or bored its way into the tooth....a lot of pain meant a thrashing worm. Coated the tooth in honey and waited with tweezers to pluck the worm out 5. Donkey's Milk - in Ancient Greece, swished to strengthen the gums & teeth 6. Onions - in Middle Ages, slice of onion to the ear on side of toothache 7. Hard-Boiled Eggs - Place anywhere in a teething baby's bedroom to ease the teething pain 8. Rabbits - A backwoods legend that grandpa would hunt a rabbit to rub its brain juice on the gums of a teething baby 9. Vanilla - Pure vanilla extract from bottle directly on the hot tooth to relieve pain 10.
