We're closed for the winter, but always open for bookings for next season. Looking to open again in the Spring, according to Mother Nature's calender. Its got to be warm enough so the plumbing pipes don't freeze if there's no fire going in the woodstove. Today's below zero temps make me glad we got the cottage closed up in time.

Closed the cottage for the winter this weekend. Its been another wonderful season. Thanks to all the guests, to the new ones we met, and the friends who returned. Here's to Spring!

Its been a great year so far. Almost totally booked. Just some spots left for September, our best time for fall colours. No swimming in the river this year. It was at the highest level it has ever been since we've been here. So much rain. As always, we've met a lot of really neat people with whom we've shared our 'little paradise in nature'.

Backwoods Garbage Policy: don't bring disposable dishes. There are lots of dishes provided, and disposable dishes only add to the landfill. Thank you.

Its a beautiful time of year beside the roaring Amable du Fond in the spring.
