Congratulations Arthur Husbands with your retirement after 19 years of service with the team at DEL Toronto. Photo taken with Paul Martin Chairman of the board and past president of DEL. I must admit I was taken back by the spirit that lives within DEL and the way retiering employees as celebrated with a celebration lunch and a hand crafted cane made of components used in truck manufacturing. The hardwood shaft is made with materials used for deck flooring for trucks. This tradition of fellow coworkers making canes for retiering people has been a 25 year tradition. The cane is to be put over a mantel or on a wall with hoping it never needs to be used. Great team spirit and proud of this tradition and our team.
