Parent Sanity Check
Description
Providing: parent support, behavioral management strategies, tips for daily living skills, communication methods, connecting with other services and supports, coping skills, family functioning, etc. I have had over a decade of experience working with children and families, particularly those with children with Autism or other special needs. My work has been primarily in the home of those families providing support, tips, coaching and modeling strategies for them to be able to function, cope and find their own solutions. I now live in rural southern Alberta, where I have recognized a great need for services that are typically only found in the urban centers and I would like to support those who have no other support. My goal is to guide parents to helping their children achieve their highest potential in all aspects, and to keep a certain level of sanity through the parenting experience! This could be done through in-home consultations, video chats, and phone calls, as needed. Please feel free to contact me through Facebook, e-mail or phone and we can discuss your needs and how to best approach them.
