Just a reminder about our shopping day tomorrow with the Wingham and District Hospital Auxillary, Nimble Fingers, and local crafters. Hope to see you for tea and treats from 2 to 3:30 here at the Villa. The residents are really looking forward to it.

Happy Hallowe'en Everyone from Nine Mile Villa

On Wednesdays we get together with our group of friends to sing and say prayers together. Our own little church.

Every Monday and Friday at 2pm our residents enjoy an hour long exercise class put on free by VON. We would like to invite elders in our community to join us. It's an excellent opportunity to get out of the house, make some friends, and build muscle for a healthier lifestyle.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We went to Mary's Restaurant for dessert yesterday.

We'd like to thank Adam Cousins for coming in to sing us some fun upbeat country songs tonight. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Here's a short clip of him playing "Head Over Boots" by Jon Pardi, and a couple pictures from tonight.

Enjoyed our outing to Mary's Restaurant! It's always a treat to get our residents out into the community.

Today we broke out our fine china for a tea party on our patio. We held our pinkies high, and enjoyed the company of our friends.

We satisfied our sweet tooth today with a visit to Holyrood for ice cream!

Yesterday evening our residents enjoyed a fun summer craft. We painted stones with butterflies, fish, and sunshine to celebrate the first day of summer.
