This is interesting!

And here is another cottage we have just completed....and this one I am in love with! The finishes and outdoor area are amazing! Whether you want to curl up on the comfy deck and watch the sunset or have a cold one in the one of a kind bar room...decisions, decisions!!

Better late than never.....this is a stunning cottage we built a year or so ago! This is ultra modern and the owner's style is evident in every room...not your cookie cutter build but so much fun to help design!

This is a cottage we worked on last winter/ spring... the owner's couldn't be happier with the way their vision turned out!

There is a lot of truth to this open letter to our Prime Minister.....he really doesn't understand the sacrifices that are made in order to be a small business owner....and not only calling us tax cheats but raising minimum wage so high and so quickly that it will definitely affect the small business owners and ultimately shut many down....or most likely, costs for labour will rise as well as material to support higher wages so bottom line, you are paying the price too!! So don't stick your head in the sand and think this won't affect you because it will. We chose this life to support our family and we don't get paid vacations, we don't get to take those said vacations when we would like sometimes, we have no sick days, no paid medical or prescriptions, no benefits period and definitely no pension but we do have peace of mind that we are doing what we love and providing a service that helps our community.

Kitchen Reno all complete! An old stone farmhouse sometimes has limited space to renovate and upgrade but we think this one turned out perfect for the space! There is plenty of space for the owner to do her fabulous baking and creating as well as socializing! ;)
