This morning the first of our Celebrations of Remembrance was held at Prince George Retirement Residence under the direction on Rev Brad Sumner, Alan Good and Lucan Legion Branch 540. CPO David Luxton and RCMP Ted Christie assisted. Back Row Wally Christie, Ted Christie(ret'd), CPO David Luxton, Rev. Brad Sumner. Over the past several days there has been some news articles about the annual Poppy Campaign. Let me shed a bit of light on this. Every year we receive a list of retail locations and when we can canvas at these locations. It is a privilege to be able to canvas at these retailers because in some instances the Poppy Campaign is the only outside appeal that is allowed.
