ARTS NEWS Another of Darren Jones' chainsaw sculptures has been placed in Lacombe. Last winter, the Lacombe Art Collection Committee commissioned Darren to create a whimsical wood spirit from a tree stump. Now that the snow is gone, a City crew has installed the statue at the top of the trail head on Elizabeth Lake Drive. Darren also added a couple of little surprises for everyone to enjoy... a blue bird and a squirrel! Next time you are wondering what to do in Lacombe, head out for a walk on the trails that run along the upper east side of Elizabeth Lake, and you'll be sure to find it.
