Metal thumbsticks... a must have for Dualshock 4 PS4 controllers. The new ones are a bit slippery compared to the old PS3 ones. Going to open up a kiosk in the Cat Centre if they have any room. These take under 5 minutes to install and I may be able to price the mod at just $10

Great drive, great price! If I had a bit more to spend I'd be buying it. Getting tired of shuffling my steam library between my SSD (250 GB) and my HDD (8 TB). Ironically I read a bad review with write speed as the only con... looking at the benchmarks this drive is bottlenecked by the SATA interface like all others (which is why write speeds pretty much = read speeds). The only faster SSDs are for PCIe or M.2 (first plugs in like a video or sound card instead of a regular SSD or HDD, latter is a laptop interface) Really bad review lol. RIP You get what you pay for. Bought this router for a little bit over $100, it was refurbished. Blew anything priced under it out of the water. Unfortunately the port for the AC adapter was finicky, and eventually the router started restarting anytime the Wi-Fi was used. Its replacement luckily has a power switch so I can avoid damaging the AC adapter port by unplugging it and plugging it back in too many times. It's also has linux-based firmware called DD-WRT which is unbelievably powerful and customizable. It doesn't come with this but it literally takes under a minute to install

Before (top) and after (bottom) optimization. Up to almost twice as fast! This is the initial delay that you see when you access a new website for the first time (or if your DNS cache gets flushed). Unfortunately it doesn't affect throughput (the speed at which images or video would load for example)

Woke up to a strange issue today. No matter what I initially did (unplug everything), my computer thought it had access to the internet, but nothing worked! Turned out my router was getting incorrect DNS server addresses from my cable modem. DNS servers are what convert alphabetical web addressed (eg. www.google.ca) into numerical IP addresses (eg 10.0.1.2). Some IP addresses are strictly local (behind your router, never on the Internet) like ones starting with 192.x.x.x This led to the discovery of a DNS benchmarking program! I had no clue that Internet connections could be optimized with regards to DNS. Its something they don't teach in Computer NETWORKING and Technical Support at SLC! ;) It's also something I could do in about 5 minutes after any other work that needed to be done!

Computer running slow? Time for an upgrade? When you custom build a computer, you end up spending less than you would at Best Buy or Dell for a prebuilt one. With my fair rates you could have me custom build it for you, and still save money! If you thought gaming on a xbone or ps4 was amazing... imagine playing games at 4 times the resolution (not upscaled like consoles) and 4 times the frame rate!

Right now I just do custom orders but like I've said and failed to do :( I will work on selecting some components for typical ranges of machines, get these posted and maintain them as parts are made obselete. On the other hand university and my other job are going great which is why I've been too busy :)
