The one thing people don't think about when it comes to what we do here is the fact we are a stop for quality grooming products. Like Copacetic pomade from The UK. We carry shave products that do not contain gas by products. We stock pomades, creams, pastes, clays and waxes that were never tested on animals. Shampoos and conditioners that are free of parabens and sulfates. But most importantly, they are products that are designed by people who actually cut and understand hair. Yeah, they are a bit more expensive (mainly because the stuff we stock is ordered in from all over the world) but when you look at the big picture, the containers are bigger giving you more product, it works better so you don't have to use as much which stretches your dollar further, holds better so it will work all day and the ethics/directions of the manufacturers are in the right place. Next time you're standing in line at the drugstore or grocery store with the $7 hair product or $10 can of shave gel, put it down and come see what we have and why it's better all around.

A little piece of Nova Scotia will be featured in a book out of the UK highlighting shops and barbers from around the world. We are extremely humbled and honoured to make the cut for this and be featured along with some amazing people from around the globe. It should be available by February (hopefully) and we will definitely have a few kicking around the shop when they are ready. A massive thank you to Tom Chapman for the interest and support of what we are doing and congrats on his first published piece of work. Here's to many more.

Prize 1 of 5! On January 15th we will be open 4 years. Not too bad for an idea that wasn't sure if it would see year two when we opened the doors. To celebrate, we are running a give away for the month of January for a pretty banging prize package. With every service done, your name is entered into the draw. Only a limited run of these were made and we got our hands on one before it sold out completely. The Tom Sayers limited edition model is dedicated to one of the greatest bare-knuckle boxers of all time. Originally from Brighton, Tom Sayers lived, fought and died in Camden Town, and is now buried in Highgate Cemetery. From illegal boxing matches (the results of which were reportedly followed by Queen Victoria herself) to mysterious tickets to 'nowhere', the tale of Tom Sayers is dark, fascinating, and so very Camden.
