For those interested in improving their wrestling skills, join us in Kanata to learn from one of Canada's best! Seminar is only $40, and is a great opportunity for all students. If you missed the last one, ensure this doesn't pass you by. With over 15 years of wrestling experience, Noel Tremblay is one of Canada’s top technicians for Amateur Wrestling. Tremblay began his wrestling career at 8 years old and quickly excelled in Freestyle Wrestling. While competing under his father, David Tremblay, Noel won many Provincial, National and International Tournaments throughout his high school career. In 2011, Tremblay moved to Montreal to train at the Olympic Training center and attend Concordia University under world renowned Head Coach, Victor Zilberman. In 2012, Noel was his older brother’s, David Tremblay, training partner at the 2012 Olympic games held in London. While training in Montreal, Noel continued to compete at National and International Tournaments. Due to two operations, in 2012 and in 2014, Noel’s athletic career was put on hold. Noel decided to focus his energy into teaching fellow athletes and became a certified wrestling coach. Since 2013, Noel became a technician for Sport Canada, and has led wrestling clinics across Canada. Additionally, Noel coaches some of Canada’s top wrestlers within the Montreal area, and many UFC/TKO/ and amateur MMA fighters.

This. This moment couldn't have spoken louder to me, yet delivered in the soft tone of a child's voice. The first day... anywhere... Is tough, just as equally on a child, as on an adult. It's the people that surround you that change what every day beyond looks like. Just being part of this moment, one that saw our student go out of her way to help a new child, ignited such pride and contentment. Empathy. She wanted nothing less then for that little boy to feel comfortable, included, cared for, and happy... Quite the way I imagine she likes to feel... How we all like to feel. It's a lesson, a small reminder for each one of us, to give each new student a day to remember us by, with only the best memories.

Our new schedule has begun! Last night we introduced a full house of children, and parents, to our new Kid's programs. As we all grow along with the new curriculum, I'm very excited to see interest revived, and motivation restored in some of our younger students. Bring your child in to try our multiple Martial Art program options, and find what truly speaks to them.

Reaping the awards of the last day of camp. This was an amazing summer camp season, and the team was exceptional. Thank you to all our hard working councillors, for the time and effort they put in, the creativity, and the lifetime of memories they made for the kids... who made wonderful, lasting memories for us as well.
