ARE YOU BREATHING?🌬 You may not notice it, but many of us tend to hold our breath during exercise! (Especially during the difficult part of the lift) 🤔 Tip 💡 Inhale as you lower the weight (eccentric), and exhale as you lift the weight (concentric). This helps to maintain your blood pressure during heavy lifts and avoid injury while getting one more rep out of the exercise! Example! ✔️ During a barbell bench press... Inhale when lowering the bar to your chest, and exhale when when pushing the bar up, extending your arms!

~Don’t let numbers control you! You are not defined by the numbers on the scale, or how much you can “lift.” You define yourself when you push past obstacles that are challenging! And by getting stronger! ~Accept that it is not going to be easy! But it will be worth it! Picture where you want to see yourself in 6, 8, or 12 months! Exercise is SUPPOSED to challenge you. Let that challenge fuel you! ~Stop comparing yourself to others! We all do it, when we see that seemingly “perfect” person in the gym. They have challenges, and issues to. No one is perfect, and most of all they aren’t YOU! You do YOU, the best way you know how! ~You deserve an hour just for/to yourself! Leave your negativity at the door on your way in, and don’t take it with you on your way out. ...LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... ~Seek help and support from available resources!
