Another busy week for our #HLFD firefighters. After returning from teaching and learning at the annual #NorthernHEAT2017 conference in Peace River, the HLFD hosted a regional course on rural water supplies. This course covered moving water efficiently with fire department tenders in areas with no hydrants. The course was attended by HLFD, Fort Vermilion FD, Little Red River Cree Nation, Beaver First Nation, Berwyn FD and the Enterprise, NWT Fire Department. Thanks to everyone who attended and thanks to our HLFD members for their dedication.
