It’s Valentine’s Day! For the occasion, let’s discover the Atlantic Puffin, this devoted lover! @MinganNPR, there is a great diversity in terms of birds’ number and species. The Atlantic Puffin is one of those species which is nesting in the archipelago every year. Did you know? This member of the Alcidea family, also called “perroquet de mer” (sea parrot) by locals, gather as a couple for its whole life, coming back to the same nest every spring. After the female lays her single egg, both parents take turns to incubate. © Parks Canada / Olivia Jomphe #Minganie #archipeldemingan #minganarchipelago #tourismehsp #tourismecotenord
