Last day in court!
Could this really be the end of a 7-year battle with the CFIA? We're gathering at the Newmarket Courthouse on Monday to hear the Judges' ruling on an 11B delay argument filed by Montana Jones & Michael Schmidt vs the CFIA, read sharply at 9am. Let's gather in the courtroom at 8:30am to show our support for these small farmers who have been disrupted for 7 years, and dragged through the justice system for over 4 years. IF the judge rules in favour of the defence, it could bring some long overdue closure to this painful chapter. If the crown wins, the case will go to trial in April. If you can't be there in person, show your support by virtually attending, invite your friends and share this event far and wide so that we can make our presence felt on this day. See you there.
