Conquest - Our Yacht
Description
Our Yacht CONQUEST is our private yacht, large enough to use as yet another "retreat" on the weekends, to be docked at Colchester Harbour, not far from our home in Amherstburg, or for long trips on the water, like going to Cedar Point across Lake Erie in Ohio, etc., with our kids, and family and friends. It's a 1985 Bayliner Conquest, 32ft x 12 ft. beam, in fantastic condition, with twin Volvo Penta engines, forward cabin with vanity and sink (private Master bedroom), aft cabin (private second bedroom) in the rear, full galley kitchen with fridge, 2-burner stove, built-in microwave, sink, and cabinets for storage, Living room with a sofa that converts into another bed, if needed, Dining room where the table can lower and convert into yet another bed, if needed, full head (bathroom) with toilet, vanity, sink, and shower, brand new Garmin GPS with blue charts for Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie, paper charts of the Great Lakes, 8 life vests in containers, stereo/radio with new speakers in rear sitting area, 32-inch flat-screen TV and DVD-player on-board, July/2014 new bottom paint, survey done in May 2013, safety gear on board, winter cover, bimini cover, rear deck seats re-covered May 2013, depth finder, ship to shore radio, 2 power cords, many lines, fenders, anchor and rear anchor, air conditioner goes over the hatch, swim platform off the rear, sun tanning platform at the top front, sleeps at least 6-8 adults comfortably. It was christened Ron & Tim's "CONQUEST" before its maiden voyage. We picked Colchester Harbour to dock our yacht, because it is on Lake Erie, has a natural sandy public beach, a boardwalk out to the lake, 2 restaurants on site (one casual and the other upscale dining), a large playground shaped like a pirates ship for the kids, a water splash pad park, a separate wooded park, even a dog park for our puppies, brand new docks and slips, and 24-hour security with camera access from our home computer to always be able to view it. We picked the dock slip closest to the lake, with priceless views and sounds of the waves hitting the shore. It'll be like being on vacation all the time!
