SchoolStock 2017 at Jane Collins Academy will be one of the three events featured tonight on EastLink TV - Discover NL program Channel 10 (Glovertown and area, check your own guide for your local Eastlink TV Channel) The program comes on at 9:30 pm Tuesday, May 9.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, Jane Collins Academy is currently accepting resumes from post secondary students wishing to participate in our TWEP program. The program will begin in the coming weeks and run to the end of the school year. Applicants will be expected to provide tutoring and extra help to students during this period of time. TWEP is a very useful and important program and we would encourage any interested students to please drop their resume off to the school for Mr. Leyte. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

A friendly reminder to the graduating class of JCA...church rehearsal is tomorrow morning at 9:00 am! The students from CWT & Indian Bay can meet us at the church and the Hare Bay/Dover students are asked to meet at the school and the bus will pick you up there!! See you all in the morning!

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, Just to clarify, because of the numerous freezing rain reports for the island, specifically for the Terra Nova area, and the timing of travel, the St. John's trip for today has been cancelled. This is regrettable but a necessary precaution. However, school has not been cancelled for this afternoon as of yet as the system has slowed to a point where we are not predicting any major accumulation in the Hare Bay area until later this afternoon, whereas Terra Nova park is forecasted to receive quite a bit before then. It is proving to be a very unusual situation but one that we are dealing with as best we can. Thank you for your understanding.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I just wanted to write a small note here to apologize to both the school council and the grad parents for missing the meeting/grad preparation supervision last night. I do forget things from time to time. Both the meeting and the grad activities will be rescheduled for a later date. -Mr. Gidge

There will be a meeting for the Church Program Committee for the prom church service after school on Thursday, April 27th. We will be selecting hymns, scriptures, and readings for the service. All members are asked to attend.

Thank you to all who contributed to help make SchoolStock an overwhelming success and put Jane Collins Academy and Hare Bay on the map. Too many to single out but you know who you are. Now on to JCA's graduation!!!!

Just got home from setting up and jamming with the presenters and some of the JCA band and a former band student. So much done by so many people. Tomorrow is going to be A..W...E...S...O..M...E... 1 MORE SLEEP>>>>>>ZZZZZzzzzz
